The Campaign

Breaking Barriers - Building Futures is designed to provide opportunities for our partners to receive more resources that will help children break through their barriers. We are pairing an effective fundraising model with a powerful event that will increase our partners’ visibility by media interest and the inspirational power generated by martial arts master and world record holder Leif Becker.

The platform will not only generate awareness that organizations can leverage to impact their causes but also help create meaningful change and lasting impact for the children through fundraising and educational resources. The campaign launched December 1, 2012 and will continue up to Leif’s attempt to break a world record shattering 100,000 boards in 24 hours. Our goal is to have each of the 100,000 boards sponsored on behalf of a child facing a barrier limiting their true potential.

We are currently seeking outreach partners who would like to leverage our investment in this world record breaking event to raise money and gain exposure for the work they are doing every day to positively impact the lives of children. Our vision is to create an annual fundraising and awareness program that organizations can utilize for revenue, outreach and awareness. In addition, there are year-round opportunities to share content and resources with kids in need, recruit new volunteers, and network with other organizations seeking to make a difference.
